Architectural Gabion Walls – Dehlabeng Retail Centre – Bethleham

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

We have an exciting new project recently constructed by Mr. Ronnie Dagnin from Petron Engineering using architectural gabions at the recently built Dihlabeng shopping mall in Bethlehem, Eastern Freestate.

All of the baskets are manufactured on site to measurement of recessed walls at the front and back entrances to the mall.  These gabion baskets were manufactured from welded mesh rolls, (rigid square mesh) with 3.15mm diameter Class A Galvanized wire mesh with a 75 x 75mm square aperture.  The height of each tier level is 750mm, with diaphram spacing of 1050mm intervals along the length of each wall.  The rear of the baskets are secured appropriately to an existing brick wall with 60 x 60 x 5mm galvanized angle iron strips. Cladding thickness is 225mm wide.

All baskets are filled with rustic sandstone to obtain an aesthetically pleasing image.  A re-infocing bar of 12mm diameter is secured to vertical diaphragms and horizontally to the lids creating a rustic type appearance.

What a wonderful wall, well done Ronnie, pse contact Ronnie Dagnin directly at 082-8551447 or ronniedagnin@iburst.co.za for any further information or advice.[/vc_column_text][jig_vc][justified_image_grid row_height=250 height_deviation=50 caption=off overlay_icon=on orderby=menu_order filterby=off filter_style=buttons filter_orderby=title_asc last_row=flexible load_more=click load_more_text=”LOAD MORE” load_more_count_text=none load_more_mobile=no initially_load=12 load_more_limit=6 ng_gallery=61][/jig_vc][/vc_column][/vc_row]
