Elephant Point Embankment Stabilisation

Elephant Point Embankment Stabilisation

The gabion project, initiated on 28 October 2024 and completed on 14 November 2024, involved constructing a mass gravity gabion structure utilising 300m³ of rock. The primary purpose of this structure was to stabilise an embankment adjacent to a luxury accommodation development located in a region celebrated for its rich natural diversity and proximity to big game, just outside Kruger National Park. The project enhances the safety and integrity of the site while blending seamlessly into the surrounding environment, supporting sustainable development in this ecologically significant area.
